AJ Swimming has been producing swimmers now for 6 years, its unique program has been developed in such a way that every stroke has been broken down into sections so that the basics can be mastered and built upon. The origins of this program come from the other side of the globe namely New Zealand, where production of athletes in my opinion is at a higher level. AJ Swimming is affiliated to Scottish Swimming and is fully insured by the institute of swimming.

LESSONS AVAILABLE/PRICES

Option 1 - 1-2-1 Swimming

1-2-1 Swimming has been designed to produce quick and effective results. Each child is given maximum attention by a qualified instructor on a 1-2-1 basis. As a result progression rates are quicker. Lessons cost £15 for half an hour with an additional £1.70 admission fee. The admission fee is due to lessons being carried out during public swimming times. Discounts are available for block bookings paid in advance. Please phone for details. The 1-2-1 classes run on a Saturday and Sunday afternoon from 2pm - 4.30pm @ Carnoustie High School Pool and a Sunday Morning from 9am - 12noon at Monifieth High School Pool.

Option 2 - Group Lessons

Group Lessons offer a cheaper option whilst maintaining a high level of attention for each child. These lessons also provide greater motivation for the children due to the competitive nature of a class environment. Progression rates are slightly slower than that of the 1-2-1 swimming. Lessons cost £9 per session and are paid in advanced for a block. Session times vary depending on ability (minimum half an hour). These classes run at Carnoustie High School Pool on a Monday and Wednesday night @ 1800 - 1900pm.

Holiday Crash Courses

The school holidays present an excellent opportunity to boost progression rates and develop swimming technique. Crash courses during Easter, Summer and October school holidays are available. These run Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm @ either Monifeith High or Carnoustie High School Pools. Discounts are available for block bookings paid in advance.
