Store Manager, Dundee (new store), salary circa £38,000pa plus bonus and benefits.
The Company: The uk's largest homewares retailer with nearly 100 superstores in England, Wales, Scotland and NI. With a turnover in excess of £300m this business is fast becoming the success story of the current difficult retail climate. Typically the stores have a headcount is 70+, sq ftge of circa 30,000. Four more stores in the progress of opening this year.
The Role: To take full responsibility for all aspects of the Store Operation in Dundee. With particular emphasis on Managing performance through people, Merchandising, stock control and ordering.
About you: You will need to have experience of managing a high volume fast paced retail outlet. The role will require you to be able to work autonomously, motivate a lead a large team directly and through your management team. A good understanding of driving the business through KPI's, Managing stock levels and merchandising flair are key to achieving in this role. Ideally you will have experience of managing a minimum of 60 staff.
