I'm a guitarist - lead or rythmn - looking for age 40+ band or musicians for getting together to jam/practice/occasional gig. I have a wide range of musical tastes but would like to stick with the blues/classic rock type of music. I've been playing guitar on and off since the early 80's and have had previous band/gig/recording experience. I wouldn't say no to doing covers but have been used to playing own material in previous bands - saying that I've a good learning ear and a good mentality for practice.
I don't mind if another guitarist is in the band and am willing to work a 2nd slot if that's what is needed - I'm more interested in playing in a band rather than messing with guitarist egos.
I have my own gear and transport and would consider any distance within the Aberdeen (at a push)/Perth/Fife triangle.
