Do not use IZI painters

They will provide you with an unbelievably low quote and then you will get everything that you pay for.

I contracted them to repaint my entire flat, walls, ceilings and woodwork all in simple white. What I got was...............

EVERY surface covered in cheap white emulsion - antique brass door handles, floors, mirrors, furniture, switches and windows. In many cases this wasn't just splashes but (as the photos show) they had actually been painted.

A double mattress had to be discarded as it was stained with a 3-foot wide solvent stain and multiple paint splashes.

Woodwork was painted in emulsion, not gloss, to about 4cm from the floor. The last bit just wasn't painted at all. Light fittings had a foot square unpainted round them.

Paint cans, stained sheets (although I've no idea what they were covering) and brushes were just discardred in a pile in my communal back garden.
The "plastering" I paid for was actually a couple of bits of polyfilla.

I also strongly suspect that a set of keys were retained and being used by the painters after the "job " was finished. It was unoccupied but on visits I would find food appearing in the fridge, things I had left there went missing and the heating on. They deny it but I have informed the police.
