Electrical Project Design Engineer- Perth

One of the UK's largest and most diverse energy companies in the UK who currently own and operate electricity transmission and distribution networks across the North of Scotland and are responsible for the maintaining, repairing and updating of these networks are looking to grow their team with the addition of an experienced Project Design Engineer.

The role requires an experienced Project Design Engineer, well versed and knowledgeable in the detailed design and construction of transmission (400/275/132kv) schemes involving substations or cables (sub-sea and land). You will also liaise with statutory and key construction aspects of these projects.

To apply for the role applicants must have:
- Electrical design skills, and construction experience associated with transmission projects
- An understanding of health and safety requirements
- The ability to formulate detailed specifications for transmission projects
- Knowledge of plant and equipment standards and specifications for transmission overhead lines, substations or cables
- A professional qualification on Electrical Engineering

The salary is £40k basic + car/allowance + contributory pension 3%-9% + share scheme + energy discounts + health care + performance bonus
