Description: We are looking for a highly motivated Restaurant Manager based at our Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa in Dundee. You will be responsible for maximising sales profits and customer satisfaction along with the smooth running of the restaurants with a strong interface into the Bars. Responsibilities will include control of operating costs and wages costs. You will be expected to train and support all food and beverage staff to provide the highest level of customer care and consistent service delivery. You will also be required to undertake Duty Management shifts.

Qualifications: Formal qualifications are not essential however, evidence of good management training is expected at this level. Management experience within a restaurant and bar operation within a similar size hotel is essential. Catering for large volumes would be an advantage as would knowledge of Micros and Quadranet software systems.

Skills: The successful candidate will have the initiative and drive to take the restaurants and bars forward, ensuring that the highest level of customer care is delivered while maximising revenue at all times. With attention to detail, you will be a creative and innovative manager with the ability to build and develop a committed team. You will also have a good understanding of managing a volume operation and pride yourself on creating an exceptional dining and bar experience for our guests. Procedures are critical to our success so you must be organised and possess excellent communication skills.

Hours: As required to satisfactorily complete your duties. Usually 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis.

Salary:Competitive, depending on experience
