We started as a window cleaning company based in Dundee, over ten years ago and started cleaning gutters for our current customers ( currently over 400) after being asked due to the high number of people, so called companys, many just turning out to be cowboys cold calling on our customers. In many cases, if they were lucky enough to get them cleaned properly, they were charged anywhere iin excess of £60, and this was for an ex council semi.
We at Crystal Clear Window Cleaning are now offering our services for Gutter cleaning. Gutters are the channels fixed around the edges of most roofs to drain off rainwater. They can easily become blocked by leaves, feathers, dirt and other rubbish blown into them.
Once a gutter becomes blocked, rainwater will flow directly of the roof onto the wall and windows of your home, as well as onto access paths. Seriously neglected gutters often have weeds growing in them, adding to the problem. Water constantly overflowing from blocked gutters damages bricks and mortar and can cause extensive damp on the outside and mould on the inside of your home as it is absorbed by the bricks.
After talking to some of our customers, we have been informed that some gutters have been cleaned (well so called cleaned), but unfortunately, instead of removing any debris, it was pushed down the downpipe, resulting in a lot of blocked downpipes. I can ensure you that every piece of debris will be removed from the guttering and disposed of correctly. Also to every new customer we get, we will be fitting a leaf/debris stopper to every downpipe for customer peace of mind, also these filters will retain your gutters life untill there next yearly clean. It is highly recommended to maintain your gutters by getting them checked and cleaned at least once a year. As well as a full clean we will inspect your gutterring to make sure everything is operating properly and can carry out small repairs at a cost. The basic cost of a full clean and inspection starts at £30 (including your free downpipe filters)
