Samoens is an excellent location for the mountain sections of La Tour de France. Le Col de Joux Plan from Samoens to Morzine runs up behind the hotel. Why not come and stay if you are following La Tour, contact Terrasse-de-Verchaix for details of room rates.
If other outdoor activites interest you then maybe you want to come for the whole of the summer and work as an hotel assistant, but still enjoy all the alps has to offer. You must be able to speak some French, and have waiting/room cleaning experience, and EU passport.
