i have for sale a rstoration project for someone or to be broken down for spares a 1987, E REG RED MK1 TOYOTA MR2, 1.6i 16v. It has been sorned off the road a few years ago and not being mechanically minded i have never got around to repairing it. It will still start first time with jump leads and drive although not as sweetly as it used to.

It will need some body work in the ususal places, i.e, the arches etc. But wouldnt take that much to fix if you know what you're doing.

A few months before i put it off the road i fitted a full stainless steel exhaust which cost around £390, a piper air induction kit costing around £100, and lowering springs which i think cost £300, dropping it by 35mm all round. I also fitted a new clutch costing £220 so i wouldnt mind gettin some of the money back.

It has a set of 17" multi-fit alloys on it but i have lost the locking nut key through time.still got reciept for £629.99.

It is the SUNROOF MODEL and NOT THE T-BAR MODEL. The interior is spotless and has a silver sports steering wheel and silver gear stick.

The vehicle is alarmed although it has never worked, probably just needs to be reconnected or something and has a thatcham approved immobiliser which i think i still have the certificate for in with the documents.

For someone who knew what they were doing I dont think it would take long to get the car going properly and have a nice 2 seater sports car for the summer.
